Acupuncture can treat a number of podiatry conditions, helping to reduce muscle stiffness and discomfort.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is defined as the insertion of very fine, sterile needles into the body for therapeutic purposes. It can stimulate the nervous system to reduce muscle stiffness and discomfort, which in turn can reduce pain and improve function of muscles and joints.

Emma practices Western Medical Acupuncture, an approach that integrates acupuncture with Western medicine. It can be used very effectively as a standalone treatment or in conjunction with other modalities, to treat many podiatric conditions.

Emma has completed training in Podiatric Acupuncture that is approved by the Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists.
